About

Sicadia is an alternative rock project centered around original songwriting, independent creativity, and a simple idea: make music that means something.

The project began with the release of Sicadia's first album in 2011. More than a decade later, Sicadia returns with Wonder by the Wayside, a new collection of songs written, performed, and produced independently.

Wonder by the Wayside is the result of years of life, experiences, changes, and ideas finding their way into music. The album explores the things we notice, the things we overlook, and the questions that stay with us long after the moment has passed.

Rather than chasing a particular trend, Sicadia focuses on creating songs that stand on their own—music built from real experiences, personal perspectives, and a genuine love of making music.

With Wonder by the Wayside, Sicadia begins a new chapter more than a decade after the first. It's a return to the music, but it's also a continuation of the story.
